Email Signatures for Freelance Writers

There are few things that can routinely advertise the facets of your freelance writing business with very little effort - but one of them is your email signature.

We all send emails every day.  What better opportunity to add important links to your work, your social networking profiles and everything else you want people to know?

At bare minimum, your signature should include:
  • your name
  • your phone number
  • your website or blog address
If you want to expand a little more, try something like this (this one's my standard, but I chopped off some of the links so it'd fit right):

This can help when you're writing emails to friends, clients and strangers.

What do you include in your email signature?  Have you noticed that it works (or doesn't) when you include links?
